Waitress! Oh my goodness what a show! Totally worth the wait. I’ve been obsessed with the soundtrack for a while now and then actually seeing it last night was just so awesome! Love the vocal arrangements, so much 3 part (and more!) and vocals were on point. I cried so many times. Katherine McPhee is as incredible as I’d imagined from the days of watching SMASH (for anyone who loves musical theatre and a dramatic tv series, SMASH is great, I highly recommend it!). All cast members were fantastic! So much great music, awesome singing, big laughs, tears, baking…I just really loved it!! Totally inspired to bake more now too! ?? ?????
I could not be more proud of and happy for every single one of my vocal students and my wonderful Westerham Local Vocals songbirds for their performances at the 4th annual Performance Showcase last week! It’s such a joy and honour to be your vocal coach and to teach you all every week. To see you set goals and to work so hard towards them and then achieve them is just amazing. You should all be so proud of yourselves for everything you achieve. I’m so excited to see what the next year brings for you all. I hope you have an awesome Easter Break and I will see you all next term to continue on! ????
We are so excited to be heading to Glasgow this week to play at this year’s Millport Country Music Festival!
We are playing on the Maverick Acoustic Stage on Friday at 7pm!
A huge thank you to everybody who came out to see us play at the Local & Live 2018 main stage in Calverley Grounds! A huge thank you to Paul Dunton for inviting us to play! We had a great time!
Next stop: Millport, Glasgow!
Yaaaayy!! They did it!!! A huge well done to all my vocal students and WLV songbirds who took part in the Performance Showcase last night. I’m so so proud of every single person on that stage. I am so grateful to work with you all (and the many other wonderful vocalists I work with!) on a weekly basis. There were tears galore from me backstage (no surprise!). You all shone so brightly. A huge thank you also to everybody who came along to support the event, it was so lovely to see so many friendly faces. Here’s to next year! ?
Our new single is out TODAY!! You can download it now!
This song means a lot to us. It’s about our late Grampa. We wrote it as part of the healing process when we lost him almost 3 years ago. The lyrics in the chorus are words he had written in a letter that he wrote and had requested to be read to us at the funeral service. We hope that, in some way, this song will be relatable for anyone who’s struggling/struggled with grief.
Love you Grampa Orfila ❤️
This year will be the third year that I hold my annual Performance Showcase!!! It’s important to me to be able to provide performance opportunities for as many of my vocal students as possible, and of course my Westerham Local Vocals songbirds! I’m so excited that it’s happening all over again for a third time!!! ???
If you are interested in coming along, tickets are now available to purchase via the link below! ??
Last night’s gig was awesome! We had an amazing time playing at a sold out Pizza Express Live in Maidstone on the bill with the always wonderful Hannah White, Steve Young, Isabella Coulstock, Ian Ingles, Simon James, and Liv Austen! AND Kieran Poole who compered the evening! A country-filled event with great people and an awesome atmosphere, all in aid of Anxiety UK (official). Thanks again James Vince!!
